Questions about turbo d16
I don't know that much about forced induction yet but trying to learn. I am wanting to turbo my D16Y8 in my civic ex. What are some things that I would need to know? Thanks for your time to read this.

Re: (yellowturbo)
Ive been researching this for a while...searching is key but ill give you some tips I picked up. The greddy kit is good for a mid to high 14 running it intercooled with just the blue box, with the e-manage, profec b, 440 injectors and a fuel pump you can up the boost and get it tuned for around 8-10psi and run much faster which is my plan, Also for a good cheap intercooler check out http://www.johnnyracecar.com these supposedly fit perfectly and fill up the grill really nice...and a good place to get the kit is http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/ you get the e-manage instead of the blue box and its pretty cheap....as for the other kits the apexi is really nice you get the better ball bearing turbo and a flange for your BOV which is nice I guess but you get no fuel management stuff and all the other ones are wayy to expensive for me to justify spending on the sohc..hope that helped you a little..

I would choose Hondata over the emange. You have more tuning options with it I will be shooting for 12's next season on my completely stock motor, daily driven d16z6 with the greddy kit at 1bar.
