Alright this is directed to all the big tuners on here. I am currently going to be getting an engine built for the NDRA next season. I am going with the LS/Vtec for the torque. I am also going to be in a street class. I have HIGH goals which I know will be hard to meet but I set my standards HIGH so that I don't settle for something else.

My goal is 600 tq for the NDRA street class.....is this possible? I have seen plenty of 600 HP which I am not worried about HP....TQ is what gets you down the track...

WOW....600tq is an insane number. I dont even think that i have seen a Honda graph show 600tq on anything.

Well I was thinking an ls/vtec would need around 850 hp to make that kind of tq....

Would 1600 cc injectors be big enough?

try a stroked, deckplated, bored, h22 and revlimit would be like 4k... you might win the tractor pull tho

Like I said its a high goal...common anything can be done. No one thought 5-10 years ago FWD cars would be breaking into the 7's....or allmotor 4 bangers going 9's like bisi. Barriers are made to be broken.

hp and tq goes together not tq brings you down the track it about the set up, for 600 tq look at boosting a lot and $$$$$ and it might not even be able to reach that goal

With a built motor....enough air and fuel...and a good tune...anything is possible.

2.0l lsvtec should be able to do it. But hey ya never know, its a very big project which I am going to take almost a year to put together. Full-Race Rods have been proven to 800 whp. Im going to test that limit.
