Default ----------------Questions about crome on P72 or P28 ECU for GSR-T----------------------

1)Do you guys have any thoughts/comments on crome?
2) Do you guys recommend using crome on a p28 or p72 for my GSR-T.

I am currently running a greddy kit w/ the bluebox and and considering getting a fine tune soon. I will be taking my car to Bubba from Do-it-Dyno to have him fine tune it. Currently, I need feedback on whether to use crome or another software and on which ECU, the p72 or the p28. Thanks in advance guys.

If the right circuitry is added the P28 would work just fine for your setup.

uberdata is dead, all development is now focus on crome

hondata is simialr to crome, ( i dont wanna start a war) but is comercial and cost a bit more than crome pro

neptune for now, can only be installed and tuned by a few selected people IE Boosted Hybrid

to learn more on crome check out http://www.pgmfi.org

spend some time in the library then join the forum, but let me warn u the forum is not very newbie friendly, so u really have to spend time to learn about it if u wanna DIY.

I run crome and i very happy with it

Crome or uberdata both work great. Whatever your tuner recommends is what you should use.

Also IAB isn't any auto component, although it does use an auto out-put you don't have to steal anything from the board.

But you don't need an auto to do the IAB conversion. Like the first picture, you can just jump those two holes. I have been doing that for a very long time. I never had to get stuff from an auto ecu.

Got ya, the difference is for OBD2 stuff. Learned something new today. That is a good thing.

Thanks guys, i think im gonna stick to crome and if i dont find a p72 for them to put crome on then ill grab a p28. Bubba said he's the one whos gonna chip it so I dont think i have to worry about that part.
