Default question to turbo techs.

Ok, i know that searching can give me a small idea of what i need, but i was wondering if anyone could give me a hint based on my mods.

Ok, question is, What size injectors should i run with this setup

Gsr head-mild port/polish, crower springs/retainers, skunk2 intake mani., ferrari oversived valves, ect.
Gsr block- Je 9:1 compression pistons, eagle rods, block guard, total seal rings, ect
Turbo setup- t3 turbo, intercooled, ect.
Ems- hondata s2/s3 (still deciding)
fuel delivery- walbro 255 fuel pump, aem fuel rail, b&m fpr, injectors??

This is my first honda build. i am more familiar with carburetors. So and advice is welcome.

http://www.rceng.com

You need to pick injectors that will output enough flow to reach your desired hp. So basically you need to decide what your desired hp is. Then go to the website listed above and you can find the formula to calculate what size injectors you need. GL.

550cc so you have a lot of room to play too, let hondata control these injectors

yea. From what i gathered 550 inj. seem to be the best bet. Now for turbo sakes, just reading through some posts, seems like ill be alittle dissapointed in a t3. Should i shoot for higher? or will i run into reliability issues? (like im not anyway, heh)

i think you will find enough potential in the t3 super 60 turbo, if not, then just get a t3/t4e 57trim .63ar

my setup:
Garrett T3/T4e 57trim .63 ar w/RC Engineering 550cc saturated injectors

A cookie cutter t3/to4e 50 or 60 trim with a .63a/r on the turbine side will do you just fine. A standard t3 will prolly die out on the top end. You could prolly get away with a gt28rs though. They cost a pretty penny though. GL.

Yea, from previous topics i was reading a standard t3 will not be able to support higher end. So, time to start looking for a t3/t4 Thanks guys. Any other things i should replace while im at it?

Yeah, I wouldn't bother with the skunk2 im. Just use your stock one or find a used victor x. For 300hp you could just use your stock manifold. If you will be going for more then it would be a good idea to upgrade the im to a victor x or even better (depends on your $$ flow) a f-r im.
