Icon2 question on set up

hi guys,

I'm selling my civic (h22 turbo, bone stock motor) and i have a real good deal on this set up

B16A1 with forged base
Eagle rods, Arias Piston 9:1 compression
ARP Headstud, Blockguard,
Turbo precision injector.680cc
Bully stage 4 clutch.
Turbonetics t3/t4
Tial wastegate.
Turbonetic BOV
Ram horn manifold.
3 in downpipe incl. all exhaust to the back.
Hondata S100 with boost option
14.5psi 285whp 200 torque

The car is like new but I was thinking that if i buy it, Can i retune it and get some real whp...my h22 did 280 whp, 225 trq

what whp could i achieve with a set up like this

You need to read around. The faq's are a good place to start. It's obvious that you CAN, not will make as much hp as your weakest link. Turbo, stock sleeves and/or fuel delivery system.

Bumping this thread is pointless (especially after a mere 9 hours of existence). People most likely aren't responding because they feel you need to find out for yourself. GL.

Your gonna be limited to about 350-375 whp with those injectors... But yea, like dude said you might wanna look around... That block is good for 450whp...

ty,

thats the info I needed

I have a some 880cc precision at my house. I'm also planning on upgrading the turbo. I saw the b16 set up thread and similar set up were running 350 to 425 whp.

My car is sold this weekend and I'll buy that little hatch with the b16.

I also know quite some stuff about turbo but all my engines were stock (lets say i never touch a block for a turbo set up)

read some more. It never hurts to know more. That B16 setup isn't bad, fairly close to what mine is. More fine tuning on the dyno should yield a little more hp.

yep,

from what i read, this set up could push up to 400whp. I just spoke with my tuner and he said maybe we could upgrade the turbo and injectors. the stock sleeves can handle much more than what i thought

well I just sold my h22 turbo civic. Sad, but problem will be coming in the summer (overheating, stock motor)

I going to send the civic with the b16 for a inspection. If it have a lile bit of rust on the rocker (when you open the door, you see the plastic trim), is it bad?
