Question about trannys
I'm buying a JS next month and I was wondering if I should chnge my tranny? I have a ls with a jdm tranny alex from APG got for me when I did the auto to manual swap. My plans were to go turbo , Alex said that ls longer gearsere good for boosting a turbo. Does that stioll hold true for the JS? Here is my listof items that will be used:
DSM 450 injectors
50 shot nitrous dry
LHT after cooler
hondata s300
Jackson racing S/C
Walbro 255lb fuel pump

Re: Question about trannys (94integrasc)
Its an LS, I was thinking b16 or switching the gear ratios on the LS with either b16 or gsr gears. Im researching trying to find a good match for speed and gas milage on the daily driver

Are the gsr and b16 tyranny's similar?I was looking at the gear ratio's in this other thread and it seemed that way.

Similar....I guess. They both have fairly short gearing. GS-R tranny has longer gears but not by too much, it's in between the LS and B16, I think it is the ideal tranny.
