Question about tq, Im building an ls/vtec for my turbo hatch, How much boost for around 250+ Ft Poun
Any guess I want atleast 250 plus so the car pulls nasty, and about how much horse? I want to run like 15 psi? and another quick question How much more responsive will a t3 be on the ls/vtec then my t3/t4 is on my b16? I want super fast throttle response and Im trying to gain low end also.

To be honest with you...
T3 turbo's suck. They are way too small. Sure you will have great response, and no turbo lag to notice, but after like 6500 RPM, its going to be bad.
Go with a T3/4E from turbonetics, with the smallest A/R you can put in there....like .53?
And that will lag about 500 RPM's but hold til 8k.

But with the LS/VTEC turbo.......how much can a fully built LS/VTEC take with boost? Can you say run 18psi of boost on a LS/VTEC... Safetly?

not really but you would have to have stronger internals....not just run of the mill honda stuff.

Fully built ? Meaning iron sleeves as well ? On forged internals/sleeved, you can go 18psi, but you should just run a larger T4 or something with lower boost if you want better drivability. 15+ psi is a lot of boost.
