Default Question About Routing Charge Pipe (without intercooler)



i was wondering if this would be okay/fit, i would turn the compressor so the outlet points upwards. (i don't have the AC anymore)

any help is appreciated !(or tips!)

Yes, that'd be fine, but maybe use a smaller pipe than the 3" AEM pipe... And keep this in mind when routing your pipe: Ever 90° bend = a 1% loss. (45° + 45° = 90° = 1% loss)...

i can deal with a %1 loss to begin with and its not the 3" aem pipe, its from an EX (if u notice, my engine was swapped out) and they just re-used my old CAI. So I believe its 2.75"

I think that would work...although I still say you run the piping around the front like you have an FMIC....but skip the fmic for now. That way you can just cut a section of piping out, and drop the fmic in place once you get it....

It just seems the "cleanest" if you will (*until my badass trust intercooler (skyline vspec II) comes from overseas this june :D)

i think this would be pretty safe on 5psi eh?(*probably not much fun tho..hehe)
