Question about Pricing
This might be better suited in the engine tech section maybe, but the FI is my home and I like you guys more
Question: Just out of curiosity, how much would a typical shop charge to remove GSR cams, install ITR's (given that the cams are already purchased, so that's not a factor)? So basically remove/install cams, do the timing belt, and also adjust the valves? I just got done doing it for a friend, and I feel like I shot myself in the face since I didn't it completely for free. Thanks guys

Mmm a semi decent friend, not too close. I agree, at least some beers afterward would be nice.....but my thanks was "well I'll let you know when the Skunk2 manifold comes in" haha.
EDIT: Score, I just remembered about my 2 16oz. bud lights from the past weekend
yummmm

i agree to that. Changing out cams is as close to a bolt on operation as you can get with out being a bolt on.
I pretty much do all the work i do for free. Most of the time i get some food and maybe a case of beer. I did cams, springs, and retainers on an H22 with the motor still in the car for some taco bell, but maybe im just a push over
It would be nice to have some help when i need it once in awhile tho

I second that notion, i help my buddy with his delsol vtec all the time, im got the nack for the timing belt. i do it for nothing, he helps me all the time on my heap of **** though so its a wash, a friend i would help out no problem but a few beers would be great.
Someone i didnt know i would charge 150-300 depending on how much a dick they were and if the car was in good or rough shape aka clean or grease pit
