Question about my 4G63 and what turbo to run
Ok, I recently bought a 1g talon awd. And it has some upgrades, but nothing special. Not quick at all. I had a vw corrado vr6 turbo, and I have the turbo off of that, which is a GT40. I was thinking about running this turbo on my talon. Any input on how streetable that setup would be. This would be 100% a street car, with the occasional track visit. The spool up wasn't bad on my vr6, but don't know how it would be on a 4g63. Here are the specs of the turbo: It is an .81 AR with the 88mm wheel. Precision rates the turbo for 750hp, but others have it rated at 650, so i dont know. t4 flanged and 3" v-band discharge.

Thats an Effin huge turbo. It can be done but you'll need an assload of parts to support that bitch, its no bolt-on affair.
DSMtuner.com is a good one too, just dont post until youve searched EVERY concieveable thing.
