question about forged pistons
will it be ok to drive on stock or close to stock compression forged pistons and boost later down the road? do after market pistons have the same lifetime as oem? im asking because i want to go turbo but have to sell my turbo kit for the rebuild and wont be able to boost until later in the year

How long the aftermarket pistons last is most likely a function of how precise the machining is that is done to the block. Honda OEM machining is second to none and will be very difficult out do. On that note, there is nothing wrong with driving on aftermarket forged pistons as long as the car is tuned for NA.

Forged pistons rock a lot more than OEM because they expand a lot more when hot. It is pretty common for forged piston engines to get cylinder scoring after 10,000 miles. No, they won't last as long as OEM, but they will last a lot longer when you boost and get really high cylinder temps.
If you want a strong piston that lasts longer than OEM, get hypereutectic. Just don't detonate, as hypereutectic pistons will shatter with any extended period of engine knock.
