Question about engine build and sleeves
O.k.
I want to rebuild b18c engine.. i really won't want to push more than i do right now.. around 265whp.. maybe 300whp at the most..
1. so is there a need for sleeves?
2. if to re-sleeve, can i re-use the same bore but with stronger sleeves?
3. but first, i'd like to know if any sleeving job requires removal of webbing and making the block weaker? can a block be re-sleeved and not loose any more material.. i dont' exactly understand whats involved in re-sleeving

you dont need resleeving. ive seen stock sleeves handle 400+ whp and others on this board have seen more. but its all in the tuning.
just get a good set of pistons and rods and you should be set.
