question about base timing
To help my car idle a little better (built b16a with 880s) i moved the timing in chrome from 16 degrees to about 19. Now when i jump it for timing does it goto 16 or reads the map where i have it set at 19?

When you are shooting your ignition timing, set everything in the low cam ignition table to 16.5 deg. Then shoot your ignition timing using that rom.
Once you have synced your dizzy, go ahead and tune away.
