Default A question about after installing the turbo...

what did you guys do about your exhaust...did you just drive your car to the muffler shop open DP and have them put on the exhaust and make any modifications needed or did you just tow your car up there or what?

Haha yeah you could do that. Its not that big of a deal. As long as you dont drive every day open dp.

Yeah, most people I know just drive it open DP somewhere. We're not some big American muscle car so it would be that terrible loud unless you really get on it. You probably won't do that much anyway with open DP.

This is what I did. I kept the car in the garage and measured the length for a test pipe. I went to a muffler shop and told them the length as well as which flanges I wanted. They made it and it cost me $10. I went home and bolted it right up.

right now I'm running open turbo, no DP it's pretty damned loud, but I'm not boosting yet. I broke the fuggin actuator arm on the wastegate.
