Question????
Reason i ask is because as soon as you mention anything over 500hp all you hear is manley I beam (turbo tuff) or pauter. Now why would i use a 1000hp rod if i can find something in the 650 range, and yes i've use the search button so your comment are not needed.
you would be pushing the limit on any economy H beam rods but they've worked in the past. Reason people mention higher end rods is because instead of running on the ragged edge of the tinsile strength of a rod its better to be in a lower range of that strength.
And yet you ask anyway. In all your "reaserch" have you found any combo that meets your criteria? Sounds like you're being motivated by limited budget instead of common sense. I say "sounds like" because you still haven't come off of any info to help you make a valid and sound decision.
Sure, he has a build duh!
D, B, F, H, K, J, ect series? Haha, what does that matter? It isn't like there are a million combinations available. Only a few dozen IF he is even talking Honda's.
So to answer your question OP - Use stock rods for those power levels on your (fill in the blank) build. You will be happy you did!
