Default pushing the limits

Stock b16a with 15k miles..
I have a garrett t3t4 .57 trim and .63 ar
greddy intercooler, vortec 4:1 fmu, rc 310cc injectors, holley 255lph fp
msd 6al, crane trc-1 (timing retard) field sfc (leaning out about 7%) drag manifold, tial wg.....thinking of raising the boost to see what i can get out of this engine... .......oppinions on what i can push the boost to?
the car s only driven about once a month for about 10 miles...
Oh and air/fuel ratio will be tuned on a dyno. rite now it's at 12:1

I had close to the same setup, except I had a 10:1 FMU and no V-AFC. At 10 psi of boost I put down 251whp & 189tq. Since there was no way to manage fuel, the car ran really rich, but felt awesome. The summer before I went turbo I had a 50 shot NX kit and went through like 8 bottles. That motor took one hell of a beating, but I always kept a/f's on the rich side to play it safe. 310's with a 10:1 FMU was way more than enough fuel..

Mmm a fresh B16 with only 15k. IMO, I say ditch the vortec, crane, and field sfc, bump up the injector size, and put a real engine management system on it. It would be a damn shame to ruin a perfectly good motor because you are using a bunch of bandaids. Oh and don't turn up the boost.

Yeah i hear you, tuning is the key to safe power, but honestly i don't see spending $1000 on hondata and tuning to get me basically where i'm at now. Air/fuel ratio is good (goes between 11.9:1 - 12.1:1 under boost) and timing is somewhat in check. I know tons of people making close to 300whp using so called "ban-aid" fixes. once i build the engine then i'll look into serious tuning but with the limited (10 miles per month) driving i do in this car, i just cant justify doing so rite now. I'm still far from pushing the power limits of this engine. just looking for advice, thanks

yeah it's only $400 for hondata + $300 for injectors and another $200 for tuning.
Eventually I will be going that route because I do plan to build the engine and run more precise tuning, but until then this is what i'm going to work with. Between my house payment, truck payment, and spoiling my daughter i don't have endless funds (as much disposable income) like when first started with this car. Granted if i really wanted to plop down the cash to do all this i could, i would just much rather take my time and do it slowly, enjoy everything else in my life. the car is about number 15 on priority list. btw which vendors offer good deals on hondata? thanks
