Default Pulling out timing and how much?

I'm sure this has been talked about and its prob. a very general question. But how much timing should you pull out for X amout of boost. Or does it really depend on if your detinating to begine with? For example .5-1.0 degrees of timing out per lb at say 15lb's of boost on pump gas (93 octain)? Or is this to broad of a question to answer?

There really isn't a base amount of timing to pull compared to boost becasue each motor is different. There are too many variables to determine when a motor will detonate. If your not detonating then give more timing until you feel slight amounts and then back off. Just be very careful when doing this as blowing a motor will be very easy. Just be very conservative and you'll be fine.
