pte 6265
ok guy i have a bit of a problem and im wondering if any venders can help me out. I parted my turbo kit from last season to upgrade to the billet 6265 I found a good price for the turbo BNIB shipped to my house. I called the shop direct and told them id like the 6265 DBB billet with ported s housing and the vband inlet/outlet well the backhousing turned out to be not availible and i made the decision to swich to the t3/ vband and with the differance in money rather than go through all the returns I said just upgrade the shipping and im cool. The next day comes and my new turbo showes up, im all happy open the box and im like WTF it has a 2.5 " vband on the exhaust housing? hmm oh well ill run a reducer and problem solved. So then i take it out of the plastic and its got the standard non ported compressor housing. errrr i just waited for nearly a month for this to show up and im so pissed. Im going to call the vendor but im lookin for the proper part number for what I actually wanted. This is where H-T comes in, all the sites I go on for the part number i have on my invoice show a billet 6265 with a ported front in their pictures the number on my invoice is 500-6265S-B did percision ship the wrong snail or did the vendor give them the wrong number?
Coles Notes
1) Is there a 3" vband back housing with a t3 footprint for the 6265?
2) what is the correct part number for what i want
bonus question is there a water cooled center section available for this turbo?
thanks in advance

Re: pte 6265
the t3 housings are 2.5" v-band outlet.
6265s-b means its an s cover, non-ported, ball bearing. the precision billet ball bearing units are not water cooled. i suppose you're looking for the 6265sp-b

If you end up with the 2.5" vband outlet and need to mate it to your 3" downpipe, these should do the trick:
