the pros and cons about Maxrev and inline pro.. MANI'S..
i might be getting a turbo manifold soon and just want to know the pros and cons about both manifolds.. i know the rev-hard is a log style w/ runner 1 and 4 opposing each other and such.. but with the inline pro mani, the situation isn't as serious because of the internal forging/forming etc... i also know about the GB on the inline pro mani, but i'd also like to know what i can get the Max-rev mani for as well so i can make my purchase decision alot easier... currently i'm running a custom CX rigged manifold as my turbo mani, its working alright for me at the moment, but i just want to upgrade to the actual manifold since i'm pretty sure i'll see a major improvement from the upgrade... i mean, i've hit a best 13.7@102.5 on the CX mani @ 8psi.. currently, i'm running 9-10 psi daily, conservativly.. let me know ur opinions , thanks..

InlinePro makes great products. I stand behind them 100% and I hate everyone. There manifold design is one of the simpelest, basic but most efficent manifolds on the market. I recomend the InlinePro manifold. Also I hear the welds on the Max Rev suck.

I mean, 1/2" flanges, 8 guage forge stainless steel....who could ask for more from a manifold that costs the same as the regular cast iron versions
I don't care if you like inlinepro stuff and that everything on your car is form inlinepro, but you don't have to rip on someone elses product unless you have experienced it firsthand.

Inline's manifold is nice, and they make some good products... but some people on this board (you for example) ride their nuts WAAAY to hard.. LOL
I'm with Dustin on this one, open your eyes, their welds are top notch.

You can't go wrong with either manifold. The Inline Pro manifold is awesome. For the money, I believe the Max Rev is the best choice. BTW, I have not seen better welds on a manifold than the Max Rev manifold.

I honestly do not think there will be a difference you can feel between those manifolds. Simply evaluate your needs and budget and get the one that is best for you.

Re: the pros and cons about Maxrev and inline pro.. MANI'S.. (TurboSedan)
my needs and goals for the upgrade include; running 9-10 psi more efficiently w/o the major flow restriction offered by the CX setup, hopefully increase my torque and hp noticebably over the current setup, feel better that i'll be sportin a MAXrev or Inlinepro mani for now on, and some others i can't think of at the moment...

Max rev does have some excellent quality to their manifolds, but they've raised their prices too much on them. It was 350 on gb, 400 regular when it first came out. Now it's 450 regular w/ no gb in sight. The inline pro is 480 on gb currently so it isn't too much more.
The maxrev is nice cause they can weld a 40mm wg flange on there if it suits you. The other thing is that you can get their downpipe and not worry about having one made, especially since their downpipe is of just as great quality as their manifold.
The inline pro should be more efficient than the max rev though because the max rev is log style. Lots of the more knowledgable members don't seem to like log style manis. Also cast should be more durable for street use (although max rev's mani is supposed to be very durable as well). You gotta deal with having a downpipe made with the inline pro too. I like how the inline pro mani is tilted a bit so the turbo inlet will clear the clutch slave cylinder better than the max rev.
Lots of people seem to have complaints about max rev's customer service too, so that might play a part in your decision.

Re: the pros and cons about Maxrev and inline pro.. MANI'S.. (DarksideDC4)
yeah the fitment might be an issue with the max rev but i would say you would produce MORE power with max rev over the massproduced cast inline pro mani.
any thoughts on this anyone?

Re: the pros and cons about Maxrev and inline pro.. MANI'S.. (PreIudeSI)
Just wanted to put my 2 cents in.....I just got the max-rev manifold and it is of extremely High quality construction. THe downpipe had to be adjusted a little to fit right, but it really wasn't a big deal. As far as customer service goes just get it of of Ben at import parts he's great!!!

Re: the pros and cons about Maxrev and inline pro.. MANI'S.. (VaporTrail)
Just look at how the 4 runners merge on the inline pro versus the maxrev.
Cast has benefits also in being able to make designs that you couldn't make with weld-els.
