proper way to burb radiator??

proper way to burb radiator??
hey guys...i just recently put in a new 160f thermostat..and i think theirs some air pockets..what is the proper way to burb it? Ive read all different kinds what is the best?

Take the radiator cap off...start the car...and let it run through its heat cycle a few times/until you stop seeing bubbles coming up. Then check to make sure everything is topped off to where it should be. Thats how I just did mine after changing a coolant hose. No problems

Why are you running such a low temp thermostat?
I always fill the rad all the way up, start the car and let it fully warm up the turn the heater on (if equipped) and add more coolant until its filled up completely, then I shut the car off and let it cool and repeat the process a few times.

engine is overheating a little bit..have to get a bigger fan...
Why are you running such a low temp thermostat?
I always fill the rad all the way up, start the car and let it fully warm up the turn the heater on (if equipped) and add more coolant until its filled up completely, then I shut the car off and let it cool and repeat the process a few times.

just did it this way with the cap off right? at all times? when it warmed up the water was at the top of the radiator then saw some little bubbles then one huge bubble and it dropped so im gonna do it coupe more times

yes make sure the cap is off, I do it several times before I eventually get it all out. I was also repeating the process roughly every tankful but I always give the car a once over before driving it, so while it was warming up every now and the I bled the air out of the system..... I got a good burp every time I pulled the cap off.
