you can mount it wherever you feel is convenient, that will allow you to run your vaccuum lines easily.
I dont think that this pic will help, but you can see mine in the lower right.
this pic is old, and nothing is connected yet, but you get the idea.

Okay thanks, great Pic, but im still Confused about the 3 vac lines. Also what are those round plastic blue things on the VAC lines that came with this? Im thinking extensions or something but i dont want to touch them before I know what they are b.c these VAC lines are kinda short. Any more close up pics?
Greddy says for Actuator Install
1 - Intake Mani, easy
2 - Pressure Source (charge pipe??)
3 - Actuator
Here are pics of what I have, I know Im missing an extension for the Power and ground for the actual unit.

the blue things are filters.... for moisture, and debris in the lines, I am keeping mine in place, but I have been considering removing them in my application. (since its a track only car) but for a daily driver, I would leave them in... It couldnt hurt...
as for the ports, those diagrams on the site kinda suck, the ones in the manual are slightly more helpful... If you search google for 'profec manual' I think that you will find a copy of the manual floating around... I had a copy somewhere, I'll look for it.
the diagrams in the manual suggest tapping into the vac. line that feeds the FPR to use for your "pressure" feed.
let me see if I can find that manual, it will make things clearer.

well, I found what I thought was the installation manual in a PDF...
But it turns out that I have the "operation" manual as a PDF, NOT the installation manual.
But I do have a hard copy of the installation manual at home.
I'd be happy to scan it and email it to you, but the soonest you'd see it would be Monday probly. search for it, and let me know, because if you cant find it, i'll get you a copy on monday.

Thats exactly where I have mine positioned on my hatch...there is even a hole for a bolt right there.
ANymore luck, cause I still dont know why u have to get a VAC source from the damm charge pipe
Instead of the charge pipe just t it off and use a source from the intake manifold. I just used the same source and teed it off the one that goes to my wastegate. so basically you have to sources going to it. Works fine that way, just make sure the one that goes to the charge pipe is thicker and hasn't been teed off too many times.
heres kinda an odd question...on my profec b, i have wastegate to turbo like normal, then top of w.g to out port on motor, then in to intake manifold...but when its connected like this the wastegate stays open and it makes a really loud exhaust-like noise...is this common or is something wrong?
nevermind, I zoned out there.
can you draw a picture of your layout?
I'll try to scan the installation book tonite, and post tomorrow, I think that it will clear a lot of this up.
