um...i just got a used profec b and the guy told me it was acting funny, as in wasn't working properly. i was testing it b4 really install it in the car, don't ask how, i rigged everything.

anyways...i simulated everything as if it was in a car and the black box was making a proportion valve like sound. is this right? b/c when i turn it up all the way (balance and lo/high boost) it stops the proportion like sounds.

is this right? also i dont have that nipple like thing, do i need it or is it just a filter thing?

What is a "proportion valve like sound" ?

 

its like a stop and go type, but fast

when you have the profec set like that, it will stop regulating boost and let the wastegate flow it's maximum amount
