Dustin, I do it a whole new way that you are not aware of.

THe EMS doesn't do it automatically.

Hondata does.

IF you really believe I don't know, I would be willing to bet alot of money.

And it would be nice to meet you, of course too.

Maybe we bet lunch, its more friendly than money.

...However, the problem is...we are not there to guide them on how to fix it. Because the phone is not the same...
Isn't this contradicting your whole argument that hondata is easy to tune?? Why would need to help people if its so easy??

If your garage is a tranny graveyard, and your motor outlasted many of them, then you knoe.

Any reputable company (website) that can fully rebuild transmissions??

"People that have problems with Hondata, simply need to bring it to me and pay the pro to make it work. I can fix any Hondata problem. I know the system inside out, and I have found things in the system that even the makers of it did not knwo about.

I would be glad to help anyone with Hondata problems. But not over the phone. They have to bring it down, and pay for the tuning. And then, they always leave satisfied.

"

Jeff,

get off your high horse please. the P72 is plagued with a very reproduceable hesitation problem that is not related to the fuel or timing maps. I have followed Doug and Derek's "suggestions" for tuning it out and its just not happening. If you have suggestions then make them here like we all do for each other. Don't go telling people to go drive clear to California to have you tune their car to fix this problem which you certainly should be able to describe you technique for fixing since it is so commonly encountered!

Doug has been outstanding in his customer and dealer/tuner support and is trying to help sort this out at the present time. Other than the aformentioned hesitation (which is hardly a major problem), the hondata like any system is very tuneable and given the choices, is by far the most user friendly.

And what a piggy back it is. Come on now, no standalone is legal for use on OBD-II cars so what makes Hondata a piggyback?!?

I have to disagree about the Phantom-grip. I've heard nothing but good things about them, when professionally installed on sub-300hp cars. They do tend to break above that, but you get what you pay for at $300 a pop.
Did anyone mention JG? I had one of their TBs and it stuck like a **** when it was even slightly cold out.
Also, anything by OBX. what crappy ****.

I have been doing a lot of research on phantom grip, and have not heard one good thing about it, not one, some netural things but not one good thing.

jb weld sucks, my oil pan leaked for like 6 months, had to put new oil is every week before i got it welded.

Um, what are you basing this on?

And as for me personally, I have never been able to get a bolt extractor kit to work at all.

well ive driven all those ugly *** things. i didnt care for them especially the v6 mustang, couldnt tell the difference between it and my pops buick regal. i used to smash on all them in my 92 legend w/ the type 2 engin in it. my girlfriends rabbit never wants to work and it is nasty to drive. she is selling it and trying to buy an ef or crx. if gm and ford could make there cars look just a little bit better i may take back what i said. as for the firebird it looks like a rolling alligator and everyone who drives those needs to turn it down on the attitude notch. bottom line those cars are no fun............................................... .......................

Competition engineering tie rod kit. I had to remove over .500" to get my toe anywhere near spec. Low quality rod ends too. Plus peeling powder coat to reveal rusty metal. All for only $165.00. 6 hour alignments suck.
