Re: Procharger kit for the GSR? (madeiniraq)
I read that thread a couple of days ago but did not get all the info I needed from it.
I tried calling Procharger and all they could tell me is that it puts out 75% more power over stock. I would like to see a dyno graph so I can compare both the Procharger kit and the Vortec kit. I read the rest of that thread and it looked like Mase tuned one of the Procharger kit on a GSR, but it wasn't very impressive.
What are the capabilities of this kit on a built motor and more boost?.
And does it take forever like the Vortec does to make power?
Thanks for the help!

my friend has one on his gsr. it's alright. it feels decent, but i don't know any numbers. and it's not producing 8 psi all the time. research centrifugal superchagers. it's got a turbine like a turbo but it runs off the crank pulley. so the more you rev the engine, the more boost you are going to boost. you won't have 8psi form 5K to 8K rpms. it slopes upward with the speed of the motor.
