Default problems with pcv

i have a ls vtec turbo setup. im getting problems now even at idle where it almost has the choo-choo train effect from the breather on the valve cover. to add to that problem im pushing oil past my seals on the cams near the timing gears.... anybody have any helpful info for any solutions?

if more info is needed ask me more questions im trying to resolve this asap.

stock jdm b16 head never ripped apart with a usdm stock b18b1 and a 57trim with 12psi...

Use a catch can, i made my own but T1 and others sell kits. Check those seals as well, overtime if they have not been replaced they will leak, they are cheap but takes time to replace them.

in your other thread, I posted some stuff. I assume you're doing a compression test... When you do, do it normally the first time. Do it a second time but add oil to the cylinders right before you do it. The difference between the two will give you an idea of how far gone the rings are

cylinder 3 is definitely the problem.

its a good excuse for a built bottom end :p

what you can try in the mean time is some of that lucas engine restore stuff (or whoever makes it) it works decently at fixing problems like yours, wont last forever but it'll work long enough till you can do something about the bottom end

im grabbing a gsr long block from a friend and im still going to run it like its a ls vtec setup but its a fresh build. i figure all my charge pipe is cut for the b16 and the golden eagle sandwich plate feeds my turbo sooooo..... poor mans type r basically and ill build the head over the winter and probably do a piston rod setup anyways. i really appreciate the help tho it just sucks... im not even mad tho i had the ls block for almost 6 years and ran it lsvtec for 3 years. the gsr will bump the compression a tad so i can run less boost for the same power and it has a main girdle so there is a plus to this

yep, you cant really argue when you've gotten 6 years out of a stock block, it had to give up sometime
