Problems with cold start. EMS possibly?

I can't get my car to start on the first...or forth time this morning. It was probably about 25 degree outside. The car would start, then immediately die on the first three tries. On the forth try it ran for about 2 seconds, then she finally started on the 5th try. Is this something with my ems that needs to be adjusted?
