Default Problems with the BOV....HELP ASAP

So i just turbo'd my integra, fullrace manifold, garrett t3/t4 57 trim, tail wastegate and BOV. its running off the spring in the wastegate at 5lbs cause its on the completely stock exhaust, so without the exhaust, i figure it should be closer to 9. Poblem is i cannot get the BOV to discharge. the car pulls really hard but upon lifting, all i hear is the turbo compressor surge. I cut the spring in the bov where its light and still wont work right. its tuned on crome with dsm 450 injectors. ive checked the line to the BOV and tried running it several different ways and also used my roomates tail BOV which is the exact same and get the same results. Anyone know of anything? The line for the BOV is "T"d into the fuel pressure regulator line.

What if i "T"d it into the line coming off the compressor of the turbo? Or is it supposed to be after the throttle body? Any help is appreciated.

I always run the BOV to its own source of VAC. Mine is run to the intake manifold, but I am running the Victor X manifold that has extra ports for vac.

What color spring do you have? I don’t think its recommended to cut a Tial BOV spring though

i dont remember what color the spring is. I know before i cut it i could barely push it open with my hands. and now its still hard, but not nearly. Ive been on this all day. I would assume as with all my dsm's, its after the throttle body. I just dont get it.

its the bov like this one.....

Right now its soft enough that at idle its actualy open. and as soon as i blip the throttle it closes. and as soon as i lift it opens back up. so i dont understand why im getting compressor surge.

ive been reading that this bov isnt recomended for low boost setups. Like i said, im only running 5lbs right now. i might go unbolt mu exhaust and see if i can get some more out of it.

Anyone else?
