BOV question.
Here is my issue. I have a turbocharged b18. Im running a t3/t67 and baileys motorsport BOV but I still get compressor surge. Im considering getting either a Tial 50 mm BOV or a turbosmart suspersonic BOV. I really dont care for sound, I just want the compressor surge gone. which BOV do u guys recommend?

Re: BOV question. (jep)
Tear apart your BOV and clean it out, regrease it. If it still doesnt work, clip a few coils off the spring, or contact the manafacturer and inquire about a softer spring for lower boost. Also, what are you teeing your vacuum source from? There is no need to change BOVs.

Im sourcing from a vacuum manifold and the bov is working, I just dont think its big enuff because I hear it and I also hear some compressor surge as well. I wanted to hear some feedback on the tial 50 mm and turbosmart supersonic in regards to how much compressor surge they allow. I appreciate your instructions very much, thanks.

yeah it is compressor surge. It sounds pretty sweet I have to admit but its killing my turbo so it has to go.
