Default Problems after head swap with idle and vacuum

Recently installed a p75 head with a valve job, Crower 403s with a Crower valvetrain, stock valves and Skunk2 camgears set at 0 on my boosted B20. Anyhow, for the motor to even idle at 790rpm I had to adjust the AFC I have to -22% leaving me with a 13.7 afr. Adjusting the idle screw did nothing. However, I also noticed prior to the head swap the boost gauge was registering 17-19kg of vacuum at idle and now its at 14-15kg. Im going to be taking the car to get tuned but am a little concerned with the boost gauge readings. Any ideas/suggestions or experience with this kind of situation?

you need to perform a valve adjustment on a cold engine.

also, check your cam timing/timing belt again...

the valves were adjusted and the cam gears are not adjusted. THe crank and camgears line up. THe car runs fine and the vacuum reacts like normal, ie:does not fluctuate, reacts to throttle input just as before. People say it is the cams, just need some input. THanks

Increase your base timing at idle when you retune. You will beable to get the motor to pull more vacuum at idle and increase idle stability. Ive recently tuned some 404's on a turbo LS with 1000cc's and it took a little tuning to get the car to idle nice and steady with pulling around 18in/Hg at idle.
