Doesn't One-Fab make a manifold similar to that? I seem to remember a thread where everyone was knocking SSAC for copying it. I haven't checked out One-Fab's site in a while, but I remember they had one that looked exactly like that one.

Re: twisted ram turbo manifold? (dpetro1)
I dont think its that bad. I might get it. And also i dont wanna spend $800 for some turbo manifold altough i know its good mani, but still... I was just curious if anyone on here has this manifold, and does it still lets you keep the AC?????

I'm not for ssauto in any way...but its 2.9mm material kind of thick (as in a good thing)? How thick is full-race/lovefab stuff??

Re: twisted ram turbo manifold? (Dunc)
id never rock that. ssauto manis are guarenteed to crack and fall apart. flanges come warped, ect. i just had to make a new mani for a guy who had his 40mm tial snap off the mani while he was driving.

Full Race manifolds are either schedule 40 or schedule 10, which are ~5mm and ~3mm respectively. The thickness depends on the type of manifold. Prostreet, ProAm, and ProRace are all schedule 40 and the Prostock variety are schedule 10.
Wall thickness is important, but the weld penetration is vital.

That clears it up...yep 2.9mm is pretty damn thing in my eyes now

If youre going to buy this item... make sure that you face the intake side of the turbo on the drivers side and have your downpipe from the passenger side... I had to shave so much off my block... only to find out that I wouldn't be able to run an air filter cause the slave cylinder is in the way ... now I have to sell my dp and get one going to the passenger side.. also make sure you have a back door intercooler otherwise your intercooler piping will be too low ... here are some pics if you would like to see it on a b16.. hope this helps... I bought it just to try it out... I'm going to brace the **** out of it so that I am a little safer... dont want that **** to crack but its got life time warranty on it for cracking... pics...

does anyone else have this manifold? it looks good to me so far. i was also thinkging about getting this downpipe? anyone know if its this all just going to "bolt up" literally. i mean it will cost alot to take it in and get done and with that extra money i might as well buy a better quality one.
