I made a custom kit and everything is installed right...except I dont have a downpipe...Jut a 8 inch long pipe so my exhaust blows straight down and not on my radiator...and I have no boost...car doesnt boost at all...I was missing the ring on the bottom of the wastegate so I custom made a a flange to fit there...and the wastegates not opening so it should be boosting.....I dunno what wrong...Could not having a down pipe cause no boost..I hear the turbo spooling but there no boost...Please help...any info would be greatly appreciated...thanks

check the charge pipes...could be a leak somewhere

 

Charge pipes are all connected....Turbo is a new rebuild...and wastegate was missing the ring that sits between the wastegate and flange on top of the turbo manifold so I custom welded two washer together and tried that but still no boost...I have no downpipe either...Could that be the problem?...Could it be the turbo?

Check your upper piping (to throttle body) for leaks....BOV locations...vacuum lines....spark plug wires...Just double check because all these items can and will prevent you from boostin'....

 

Ok...SO i took my turbo off and the edge of my exhaust housing is broken right along the edge of it....Could thi sbe causing no boost?...thanks

 

Yep, that would do it . Any exhaust leaks before turbine wheel will cause low or no boost .
