Problem with car after VAFC install HELP! ASAP!
Car ran fine and boosted well before install today. D16Y8, T3, dsm 450cc, 255 walbro intank. Fuel is leaned from 1K-4K at -40 and steadily goes up from there. Car bucks, hesitates, and sometimes backfires while normal driving. Boost, forget about it. Timing was retarded from previous set up. Plugs look good. I know there is many possibilities of what could be the cause, but ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated. Daily driven and I need this thing running! I'm watching this thread constantly because I need help. Thanks in advance.

what are your EXACT fuel settings on the afc? maybe more people could help then. I haven't read of too many problems with the hack setup. Hope your problems don't happen to me.
Bump for you.

set it at -40 all the way across, you say it " steadily goes up from there" leading me to beleive that you dont have it flat at -40. Try this and get back to us.

Did you set sensor type (both IN and OUT) to #6? I didn't! Double check.

x 30 for my dumbass having a wiring mistake and not noticing it the five times I checked them. Thanks for the input guys. Nice to know you there if I have problems. By the way, the afc hack is AWESOME! I can't believe the differance since ditching the FMU/Inline!
