jus got it today , had a question though...me and my friends, my friends mostly, can install this thing but we can't tune it right without a dyno.

so to help save costs from getting a shop to install, i was wondering if i could install this thing and not change any of the settings and it would work fine? Like if it was installed and I didn't change any settings would it be like as if it wasn't really on?

Yes. Put all the values for correction at 0 and it'll be like its not on.

The VTEC engagement might be at a different setting from the factory.

 

Yes, but you MUST get the setup parameters right - sensor configuration particularly. If it's not set to 6 in / 6 out, the car will not run. Aside from that, leave all the correction maps alone and you're fine.

 

cool cool..any other settings i should be worrying about...or does anyone have their settings listed so I can jus kinna get an idea of what to set mine at?

 

read the manual. Or download it. Make sure the Throttle sel is right, number of cylinders, blah blah.
