Default Pro/Con of BOV mounted BEFORE or AFTER IC....

With my bov mounted between the throttle body and ic, I was getting alot of flutter. So I mounted it before the IC and the problem was solved.

pro's / con's ? I'm not the only one right?

i'm no so sure it's as effective before the intercooler... thats a good question though... i always thought that anywere on the charge pipe was good, after the intercooler so you can stop the surge/shockwave before it hits the i/c and turbo.....

could be wrong...

actually i almost have no clue....

whats a BOV?

I think it's better to leave it near the TB. When the TB closes, you want that pressurized air released as soon as possible to help prevent a surge back into the turbo.

What kind of BOV do you have? Are you sure it was hooked up correctly before? Maybe it was adjusted a little too tight, hence only the flutter noise.
