maybe if the bov is on the charge piping then it'd let go of the boost faster? i know it'd make the bov louder..we put the bov on the charge piping on my cousin's srt4 and it was louder

there are 2 schools of thought on bov placement and frankly neither is incorrect.

i swear there was a post about this last week. lol

personally...i believe in the theory of having the bov closest to the turbo. whether it be on the hot side or on the intercooler, i'd have it far from the throttle body. i believe it blows off louder on the hotside as well. hell....just have 2 bov's

The whole point of a BOV is to relieve pressure in the pipes so that you dont get any compressor surge. The most effective place to put your BOV is closer to the turbo (aka before the intercooler) so that when the TB snaps shut, all that air will come out the BOV instead of the BOV and the turbo.</TD></TR></TABLE>
