SC61 is too big for a B18B unless u plan on running big cams and @ least 8000 redline.

Yeh, with the low revlimit of the b18b, better to go with a smaller turbo. Check my sig for a precision sc60. Might still be too big though. Paul

How about a B18B sleeved to 84.5mm? Is the SC61 still to big for a 2-Liter non-vtec engine?

I guess Im gonna have to try and prove you wrong Chris

Stock cams and 81mm on my LS. Hoping to have the whole new setup on by sunday. Depends on my welding skills, but we'll see whats up.

EDIT* By the way. I spoke with the engineer at Precision who personally assembled my SC61. He said it should spool around 3800. This is for my application though....the motor is not stock Cams are for now

Chris! You changed your user name. Art's talking me into getting the SC61 over the SC44. Looks like it might be the SC61. Need to clear a couple things up though. Maybe we can get a chat going later when you guys have time. Thanks for helping out!

You can get it polished if you request it, I think.

would it be beneficial to polish the inside of the housing/cover and inlet too?

Probably not since its going to travel through intercooler piping going up, down, left and right. Catch my drift?
