Re: precision sc61 (DIRep)
I doubt youll see full boost by 4800rpm on the staright t4 sc61 with .68 rear and t04s front housing. Only way I see that happening is with a .48 rear and t04e front housing maybe.

Re: precision sc61 (DIRep)
2psi at 4800rpm full bost on 2.0 liter not exactly your pocket rocket. This is on 95 GSR 2.0 liter
This is on sc6169 it t3 exhaust housing not the huge t4 housing

Re: precision sc61 (rOby)
i just bought one and it was labled the PT61 for being a T4 turbine and housing. i was speaking with harry at PT. i think in the above posts the 1.98 was for Pressure Ratio or Bar....but since it wasnt clarified. Or maybe a 1.9 litter GSR motor meaning sleeves and 83mm pistons.....hmm
haha i think a turbine and housing sized up so big that you dont use a wastegate would hit 2psi by 4800.

Re: precision sc61 (javierb14)
pm me your number so i can contact you. i wanna hear the way the turbo responds or tell how it responds whoever gets it running first.
which one did you get?...i got the 56trim 82mm with T04s housing/ T4 76trim turbine in a .58 housing. I think its gonna blow away my 50trim that i realized i was wrong about.

Re: precision sc61 (djdxm)
I havent got it yet. It will be at least a month or two before i can report on its capabilities, watch for other people that have recently bought it as well.
It will replace a GT3037s which is a GT37compressor 52 trim 76mm. This is very close to this 56 82 mm compressor the SC/PT 61 comes with. That 52 trim was the BOMB on a mildly built 2.0 liter. so i'm sure the new turbo will be just as good or better. i did a T4 side cuz i really dont care at all about spool up.

Re: precision sc61 (Greaser)
I just received mine from Art today and teh best part was it only took 2 days to get. If I get time I will install it today and go to the track tonight but probably won't have time until this evening to install. Its a beautiful turbo.

Re: precision sc61 (hybrid901)
Screw Art and Precision. I installed my new sc61 and spun a rod bearing the next day. Its all there fault. LOL I better quit joking I've seen how people take things around here.
I love the turbo. It spool exactly like my 60-1hifi did and obviously flow more air. I have been running 15-20psi for the past 4-5 mos with the hifi and when I installed the sc61 I turned the boost down to 14psi. My techedge was showing .4-.5 leaner everywhere. I went out to the street races and kept it on low boost until on the way home and got in a little race and without even thinking I hit high boost and make a few 3,4,5 gear pulls and it was flowing a little to much air for my 550's and 93 octane. on me. I pulled the oil pan yesterday and I beat the rod bearing out on cylinder #1. I will be pulling the motor Wednesday, installing another crank, bearings, and rings. I need something to play with until I finish my sleeved block.
