Default Precision Injectors Install problem

Ok everything was going great putting my motor back together and then i went and grab my injectors...put the new seals & grommets on them...put them in the intake mani and put the fuel rail on....now i go to plug in the clips to the injectors...ya so they didnt fit...i was like wtf....these are suppose to be precision 780cc injectors....from looking at my obd1 clip and the injector it seems like 1 lil plastic pin in the injector is stoppin the plug from going on....could it be an obd2 injector....any help is greatly appreciated!!!

All you have to do is clip/trim off the middle plastic with a razor knife and it should fit snuggly. I am assuming that they are P/H style injectors.

ya thats what i though...just makinbg sure before i start cuttin up $300 injectors

and yes they are p/h

I have a set of Delphi 950cc in my hatch and cutting up the middle piece is not a big concern of mine. And if I was to ever resell them, the only thing the new owner have to do is use OBD I connectors.

I had the same problem with my 1000cc injectors there is just a little bit to trim off with a razor blade... if you look at both of them you can see what you need to trim off. It should snap on just fine afterwards! Good Luck!
