Precision 5557B 0.82 A/R Feedback
I have a Wiseco/Eagle built B16 w/ a fully built skunk2 head aiming for 300-350whp DD on 91 octane, s300 ecu, 8200-8400 rev limit.
I am running a Neukin topmount manifold.
I wanted to run a GT3076R 0.82 A/R but they run for about $1,200-1,400 w/ shipping to Canada BNIB, but I can get a BNIB Precision 5557B 0,82 A/R for $790, which is identicle to a GT3071R.
I CANNOT find on Youtube any 5557B videos. How does the spool sound on this turbo compare to the GT3076R?
ALSO, a used Precision SC6262R is in the equation for $800. Feedback on this turbo would be appreciated as well.
I am looking for more so, spool sound comparisons to the GT3076R. It has a BADASS spool sound my buddy had one on his b16 setup on 9psi and it HOWLED ridiculously loud.

if youre looking for quick spool the 5557 should be quicker than a 3076, however your setup is wrong for your overall goal.
The top mount is overkill, and will only serve to hurt your spool time and response, and overall there really isnt a need for it.
I highly suggest getting rid of that top mount in favor of a shorty or ramhorn. The mini ram (shorty) will help with throttle response and spool time.
