Pre-steps for installing turbo next weekend
I am trying to get all the pain in the neck stuff out of the way now, like getting all the nuts/bolts to make sure that i don't have to goto hardware store every 10 minutes. And one of the things i got ahold of was a spare LS oil pan.
So i plan on drilling the oil pan fitting now. my quetsion is where?
I'm thinking in one of the red circles (between the bolts that mount it on so i won't have trouble putting those bolts back in). But i noticed my buddy (tegtuner) has his oil return welded where the blue is (his was professionally installed). KEep in mind i have earls fittings.
thanks,
Ryan
ps, yes my hand IS gloved

If I had to, i'd put it through the far right spot. But, I would highly recommend you to just wait until you have the manifold and downpipe on the car to do a test fit, everyone's set up is a little different and you want the correct angle in your oil line. Also, it doesn't take that long to drill the hole and get the pan up there.

I agree with him. This is a vital part of the whole kit, and its best to test fit to see where the right spot is. BUT, here is my reutrn.

im running a maxrev manifold, max rev downpipe and a t3/to4e with .63 exhaust .60 comperssor... essentially its a maxrev setup (minus the i/c, the piping, and the fuel management, or lack there of).
