Default power expectations?

k heres my set up that im going to go with...

Bottom end - Dart block, wiseco 8.5:1 84.5mm pistons, crower rods, micropolished crank, 5 qt oil pan... forgot the name of it.. its a steel one..

Head- gsr head, ti springs retainers, .5mm oversized valves... 5 angle valve job, aebs intake manifold

Go fast parts- Garrett gt30r turbo, tial wastegate, 3.5" dp/exhast, custom made intercooler, custom manifold from project dc2, hondata s200b, 750cc injectors, walbro 255lph fuel pump, civic style fluidyne...

umm can't think of anything else.. but what numbers would i roughly be hitting? 1 bar daily driven pump gas of course... and about 22 psi race gas?

thanks.. input helps.. anything acutally

I could see 500 out of the 22psi. Your compression seems pretty low for a daily driver. We are running 10:1 and are producing 470 at 15psi(close enough to 1 bar) on pump gas and almost 600 at 28psi with a T4 60-1 and C16 on our daily driver. You should be careful with those injectors that you don't max them out. The hondata can still get 1000cc to idle well and that gives you a little cushion. I was going to suggest higher compression but I have heard of the GT30R being able to produce 24psi around 3500rpm so I guess there isn't much turbo lag.

What size wastegate are you planning on running. 40mm+

yea... i was thinking of 1000cc but i just went ahead and ordered the 750s... people tell me that i would never reach 450hp at 20 psi.. 450 is my goal.. but for the street 450hp is more than enough to do a domestic ugly correct? i have a tial hybrid 3540.. its a 40 top and a 35 bottom... so i was told.. the motor is in progess right now... due to acl bearings being on backorder i was set back about a month and a half... but after they arrived in the US they went straight to the anti friction coaters for a little buffer support... i wanted to get the pistons swain coated but my machine shop said on the intake side it would reflect the heat into the head thus causing detonation or something along the lines of that... im just going to have the piston skirts coated... so if anything does happen the skirts wont be too bad...

well i've been calculating the costs for everything and looks like im going to have to leave the head stock for now... car has not been running since july... so i need to get the motor out and running around aprilish... hopefully earlier... i will have plenty of usable power ever with a stock head... just wont flow as well as a ported obviously... but i will save it for a later time...

With 450hp on the street you'll get smoked by most domestics because you're gonna be spinning every gear wildly...save some $$ for street slicks

Just turn the boost down on the street. You will need to play around with your boost setting to get traction. A speed dependant boost controller would help. It isn't cool losing traction in 4th near 100mph on the street and it is worse without an lsd. Get some good tires an LSD and try different boost settings. Our lowest setting is 15psi and that works good on the street in the upper gears around the same hp 450-475.
