Cali 91oct what kind of power can I run
Just curious what kind of power people are getting on crappy Cali 91oct gas, because this is my daily driver.
Im going to be running a LS block with crower rods, aries pistons, darton sleeves, with a gsr head with CTR cams and skunk2 valve train, HP raceing sheet metal intake manifold and bored out gsr TB, turbo set up a 57 trim t3/t4 turbonetics turbo, log manifold, tial WG, 550cc injectors and tuned with hondata s300.
What can I expect from this set up on 91oct.

there are many cali cars making good power on our 91 oct..
i personally made 282 on a LS-T with 4 bent valves on 10psi..
my homies 84.5 LsVtec made 365whp on pump and ran 11.3 in a full weight GSR

with 91 octane and 9.1 compression most tuners sugest you boot about 1 bar or 14-15psi
i made 385wtp on 14 psi with a t3 60-1 and my friend make 430whp 14psi on a gt35r
it all depends on how big your turbo is. the bigger the turbo the more hp your going to make weither it be on pump gas or race gas

uhhh......NO
Boost is not the factor here. It's torque. Stay at or under 300wtrq and you should be OK. If you want to go higher we've seen water/alchy injection do VERY well in helping prevent detonation.
