Default possible compressor surge need help

does anyone have a video of a car with a tial bov on it? i've been running this setup for quite a while and i believe the "unique" sound the guy who sold it to me speaks of is compressor surge. i've tried changing the vaccum source and running a larger diameter vaccum line but it still sounds the same any help would be appreciated

remove blow off valve and check for binding or broken seals.

Same **** happened to me when i had my first turbo kit,i had two springs in my bov,and i guess it was too stiff,so i took 1 out and it solved my problem.Open it up ,and take a look inside. If infact you do have two springs, take 1 out and see what happens.

I recently installed a new tial bov, what I noticed is that if i drive at part throttle at low rpm/boost I will hear chu chu chu.... if I let off the throttle. However at higher rpms and boost I dont hear it anymore. Is this normal.

I have an apexi blow off, and thats what mine does. I used to T it off another vacuum line, and it was always making the cha cha cha. I hooked it up directly to my manifold, and it was a huge difference. But if i'm light on the throttle and lift it still does the cha cha cha, but if i'm hard on it, then i get a huge woosh.

how did you run it straight to the manifold? like an aftermarket manifold or a vaccum manifold? i've tried changing the source i ran it off of but nothing different i'm gonna try to t it off my brake booster someone told me that works well

I made a automatic y8 manifold work with my manual setup. I ended up with a couple extra ports on the manifold. One was for the pcv, which you don't leave hooked up, and the other must have been something for an auto.

i took it apart and the o-ring was ripped and stuck inside it so maybe that was the problem. there was only one spring in it but it was so damn stiff it wasn't even funny. i put it in a vice and heated it up for a minute so maybe that'll help
