Default Eagle rods, install.............

On eagle rods for a b18, is there any indications on the rods that show which direction the rod should be installed? My hanes book does'nt say about the rods, but the stock pistions have a arrow pointing to the front side(timing belt end). By the way it's SRP pistons with eagle rods, by any chance are the rods unidirectional? I know that most rods have a certain direction they are suppose to be facing.... Thanks

Thanks, I just figured that out, I had the number 4 cyclinder backwards, and cyclinders 1-3 were correct. Thanks for the reassurance bro!

I'd assume most of it would do with oiling. The only holes eagles have in them is by the wrist pin, but I recall seeing OEM rods with holes where the rod bearings have holes in them. No idea which motor's rods, but I'd guess it would deal with oil shooting towards the pistons and/or thrust side of the cylinder. I've also heard rods being designed slightly off center, which would take some load off the intake side, which sees the most sideloads from the piston.

How would that make any difference, if the end play is with in spec? Plus the amount of room in the end play is minimal at that. I'm just courious with what your trying to say, because I'm confused?
