poormans typeR + JRSC?
hi i was thinking about getting this gsr block, with a b16 head and buying my cousins JRSC, is their any downfalls on boosting on this setup?

i was wondering what the compression would be just mating the gsr block and b16 head? whats a good compression number i should aim for, for the SC? and how can i achieve it? thanks , sorry for the newb questions

Grs block with a Type R head or B16A will net you around 9.8 -1 . We build alot of turbo set ups using this combo and they run awesome. We have a bunch of them running 300 whp + on this combo.
Supercharger will like it too, We try to stay around 10-1 compression for blowers with a flat top piston.
