this might seem like a stupid question but, is it possible to polish iron? my manifold looks kind of crappy and a polished one looks so much better. btw, you can polish the compressor side of the turbo right? (is it made of steel or iron?) thanks in advance!

 

the compressor is made of aluminum. if you polish iron it will rust like a bitch.

 

the only thing you can do is paint your mani with some high temp paint or get it coated. but even the high temp paint will start to come off.

 

cant you polish iron and put a clear coat on it from rusting?

 

a clear coat? like on a car? dont think so

 

You can send the manifold and turbine housing to HPC, Swaintech, or Jet Hot to get thermally coated!

 

Do not paint your manifold trust me. It will flake off and look shity. Get it coated!
