Default PLX M300 (first run)

I just got my PLX M300 hooked up and I can't believe how easy it is to install and start using. It is great. I was very pleased with the outcome and how well it displays. On my first run with my car it was showing 11.0-11.8 full throttle, I was very pleased that is was exactly where I wanted it to be (withouth any fine tuning). The dip in numbers were also good high-mid 12s, as soon as it hits boost.

I am very pleased with this product and can't wait until it is in my car all the time.

Is it simple as plug it into the O2 bung and then connect it to the battery for the power and it read? Im thinking about getting the wide band just to read my A/F ratio on daily driving so i know exactly how my A/F is.

Yea it's that easy. Mine's spliced into the ecu though, hopefully that works fine...

hey, i also have a plxm300. i have some questions for you

-are you running open dp?

-how far away did you mount the sensor away from the turbo outlet?

-are you using it as a primary o2 also?

-what ems are you using?

its easy but not that easy. you should splice close to the ecu and run the resistor for the cel not to come on for the heater wire, also the cap needs to be installed. but it is a fairly simple project

You only need to ground near the ecu, actually. I pulled power from the battery, and put it on a switch, because the wideband isn't going to be in there all the time, because I am going to tune cars with it.

If you're running Hondata, you can just disable the O2 heater altogether, assuming you run it in place of your stock O2.

Installation of the capacitors will yield the best results as well as installing the PLX off power wires off of the ECU power wires, incase of fluctuation in voltage, the PLX will receive the same voltage as the ECU (most certainly viable when using the wideband in replacement of the stock O2).

I got mine from http://www.forced-air.com

yep, If I ran mine through the ecu it would definitley be seeing the same voltage. But I also have a SAFC off of the ecu too. For some other reasons.

Oh yep. Sorry, now that only the s100 and s200 are supported, I didnt even think of the older models. In that case then the resistor trick works well.
