PLX M-500 Technical Feedback???
I sent my M-300 wideband unit back to PLX today and exchanged it for the wireless M-500 unit. Now I can datalog with my labtop, instead of trying to watch a gauge and remember rpm A/F numbers like I would have had to with the M-300.
But anyways, the question I have is for people who have experience with the unit. How accurate is the wireless connection between the controller and the computer? Since they sell an optional cable to eliminate the wireless feature, I was just curious.
Also, any educated feedback about the unit would be greatly appreciated, I have read everything on their site, and am aware of the benefits/features. Here is a link for anyone interested:

I should get it by mid next week, I am quite anxious.
The wireless datalogging is definately the coolest feature. I will datalog boost (MAP), EGT, WB A/F, and possibly intake temp.
For everyone that is interested, the M-500 cost $490 shipped from Streetrays.com
The M-300 is $320 shipped from the same site.

I think the datalogging is a nice feature, but most standalones have a wideband input that you can log so it's not that essential. As for the wireless, the distance can't possibly be that far so it should be fairly accurate.
I got my PLX-M300 from http://www.streetrays.com - I HIGHLY recommend ordering from Willie, the prices and service are great.

Great company, and Willie is a really nice guy.
I have Hondata, I mean.. soon to have Uberdata with my turbo setup.
BTW, thanks to ndogg for his mad chipping skills. P72 and H22 basemap ran 95% as good as stock.
