Default plx install having cel prob

hi i just installed the plx air/fuel monitor... the 300... iin my 4 door civic with b swap... ran power and ground, installed the sensor and wired the narrowband gray wire to d14... my check engine light keeps coming on does anyone know the color wire of d14 so i can make sure i got the right one..or has anyone had this happen before?

did you disable the o2 heater...or you can do a resitor on it....what ecu are u runnin

i have the stock everything...b18 motor integra stock ecu..stock everything just all swapped into civic im going to be turboing it soon so i installed this now...i was told if i wire the narrowband to d14 i can replace my stock 2 wire o2 without welding another bung

you can, but just keep the stock o2 sensor plugged in. It should keep the heater from throwing a code, and the voltage from the o2 just won't be going any where.

I dont know how the PLX works, but if he still has a stock, unchipped ECU wouldn't he need to have the PLX setup to send a narrowband signal?

probably something he'd want to check. If the PLX is sending the stock ECU a wideband output I would think that maybe this would cause problems.

check the cel code, most likely the heater but it could be a crappy connection from the plx to the ecu.

well the last post i put in didn't go through...

But all you have to do is leave the stock O2 plugged in. Cut the wire at D14, leave the stock o2 side open, or tape it up... and then take the other side of the wire that you just cut at D14 that goes into the ecu and connect the gray wire from the PLX. I believe you did everything correctly, the only problem was the stock o2 wasn't there for the heater.
