Default plugs and gapping

any idea what plugs to run on a turboed b16a2 on 7 pounds with chipped p28 and 310 cc injectors i tried i think they were brk7e's on 0.25 and changed them to 0.30 and at idle its still missing and its not in the motor compression is good. might need a colder plug. any ideas

I run BKR7e's in my GSR...they'll be fine for you. I'm not sure exactly what could be causing the misses, but as for the plugs, you're fine. I always gapped mine at a .32 FYI.

i have the op setup on my gsr for the mostpart. same plugs and gap but idles wonderful. im not even tuned yet, just a typer revhard basemap. we need more info about your car to help determine why its missing like that. do you have cams?

the motor is a b16a2 with greddy turbo kit on 7 pounds and no its not running of the that stupid emanagement the only thing internal are some eagle rods a je low compression pistons. and no cels nothing just had the motor rebuilt plugs and wires are new dunno why its idle low and missing and its also running rich and just got it tuned about a month ago dunno.

it could be a number of things but since its built bottom end, how is the head? did you have a machine shop work on the head? even then they could have f'ed something up with the valves and cause it to miss like that

Check for proper voltage at each of the injectors. Sometimes new components are bad or don't work well with others, so take them to RC for a proper clean and balance (guessing $140.00), they'll provide you with a flow chart. Check your ignitor, coil, plugs and wires, make sure you have a nice strong spark. If it's running rich after tuning, I would look into another tuner (air/fuel tables and timing off), but definitely check the simplest and obvious parts first.
